A strategic landing page designed to simplify the discovery of academic programs and tuition structures at Universitas Mercu Buana. This project focuses on providing clear financial transparency while capturing high-quality leads through an integrated interest-based inquiry system.

The Challenge

Prospective students and parents often find university websites confusing when looking for specific costs and department details. The main challenges were:

  • Pricing Complexity: UMB has various programs (Regular, International, Employee Class) with different fee structures that were difficult to compare.

  • Static Information: Traditional brochures don't allow the university to track which majors are currently trending among visitors.

  • Inquiry Barriers: Students often had questions but were hesitant to call, needing a low-pressure way to express interest.

Our Solution

We created a "Consultative Landing Page" that acts as both an automated brochure and a 24/7 recruitment agent.

  • Interactive Tuition Calculator & Tables: Instead of a long PDF, we designed a clean, searchable table system. Users can select their desired major and program type to see a clear breakdown of the initial down payment and installments, making the financial planning process transparent.

  • Department Showcases: Each faculty was given a dedicated "Quick-View" card highlighting career prospects, accreditation (A/Unggul), and key subjects. This helps students align their interests with the right major.

  • The "Interest Discovery" Form: Positioned strategically at the "point of peak interest" (after viewing fees), we designed a non-intrusive lead form. By asking for their Interested Major and Contact Method, UMB’s marketing team can now follow up with personalized information.

  • Social Proof Integration: To build confidence before the form submission, we placed a "Career Outcomes" section nearby, showing where UMB alumni are currently working (Top Tier Companies).

Results

The landing page transformed a passive information site into an active recruitment tool. The lead capture rate increased by 50%, as the clear fee transparency built enough trust for visitors to comfortably share their contact details and academic interests.
